I lost my confirmation number. How can I find out if my pre-application was selected in the lottery?
You would need to contact our office at (208) 345-4907 or email eligibility@bcacha.org, and leave a message including your full name, last 4 digits of your social security number, and a phone number. We will call you back and inform you if you were selected in the lottery. We will also be mailing letters to everyone who was selected in the lottery process.
My confirmation number is listed. What’s next?
All pre-applications will now be reviewed to determine eligibility for waiting list placement. If you are eligible for placement on the waiting list, you will receive a letter from us over the next several weeks with your initial ranking on the waiting list. If you are determined not eligible to be placed on the waiting list, based on the information you provided on your pre-application, you will receive a letter from us notifying you of your ineligible status.
My confirmation number wasn’t listed. When can I apply again?
We do not know when the waiting list for Section 8 will open again. There are other resources that may be available to you.
