Sandhill Crane Apartments is being proposed as an affordable housing development to be located at the corner of Moore Street and 32nd Street in Boise. The development is the first proposed new construction development for families in the last 15 years for the city of Boise and the first new construction development for families in the Moore Street neighborhood in the last 20 years.
The site is in a designated Urban Renewal District which encourages new development and economic expansion to revitalize the local neighborhood. This proposed new housing development will have 50 units of housing for families that are tied to affordable income limits.
The development will have a full slate of amenities to include a community room with a complete kitchen, fireplace, and TV room; manager’s office, maintenance office, computer room, exercise room, common grounds with patio/decks, basketball court, and playground area. Eighty-seven on-site parking stalls will be available for the residents.
