The Boise City / Ada County Housing Authorities Section 8 Waiting List accepted pre-applications from May 28- June 27, 2024. For those who submitted a pre-application, we will be in touch via paper mail by the end of August to let you know if you made it to the waiting list and what your position on the waiting list is.

Before we conduct the lottery, we may need more information from some pre-applicants to determine the accuracy of their pre-application. If you receive a request for information in your mail, you must respond within the given timeframe to be included in the lottery. Please keep an eye on your paper mail in the coming weeks.
