The Boise City & Ada County Housing Authorities has an immediate opening for a Housing Representative. The primary function of this position is to handle a caseload of approximately 350 low-income households participating in the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program. Primary duties include processing eligibility verifications and rent calculations, preparing all required documentation, maintaining accurate and current records and data base, executing contracts and leases, responding to landlord-tenant disputes and investigating claims of fraud, communicating program rules and regulations to participants, landlords, and the public, conducting annual and interim re-certifications, and preparing regular and special reports and other duties as required. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment. Prefer applicants who have experience working in a Public Housing Authority, or with other housing related programs.
