The Boise City and Ada County Housing Authorities have an opening for a full-time Accounting Specialist. The duties of this position include but are not limited to performing specialized journal level accounting duties. Responsibilities include allocating expenses by project for accounts payable through check processing; preparing purchase orders for payments and monitoring purchase system; processing landlord checks; preparing and processing tenant rents, tenant statements and reconciling tenant receivables; preparing utility payables and maintaining utility consumption records; preparing portability billings; performing data entry and account reconciliation as needed; providing clerical support within the department; assisting in compilation of various monthly and annual reports and spreadsheets.
A minimum of five years experience in a similar position is required. Experience in governmental accounting is desirable, including a variety of functional areas such as accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, etc.; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.

We are looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician who is capable in handling a variety of maintenance needs while being willing to learn new skills.

Our Maintenance Technician will:
Perform planned and corrective maintenance to building surfaces, fixtures, systems and equipment;
Be familiar with plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems;
Be experienced in painting, carpentry, masonry, plastering and general cleaning tasks;
Be flexible to accept on-call shifts in a rotating basis with other maintenance staff.
