Boise City / Ada County Housing Authorities is Undergoing a Software Conversion

Boise City / Ada County Housing Authorities is upgrading the software and database system it uses to store and process data. This upgrade will allow for more accurate and efficient reporting, better data integrity, and faster processing of client transactions – including participant and landlord portals, online reporting, and direct deposit for landlords.

Our goal with this new software is to decrease both the time and effort required by our staff for day-to-day operations as well as minimize the turn-around time to address our participants’, landlords’ and community partners’ needs.

Please be mindful that there may be a delay in our response as many departments will be in training to learn the new software. Staff will continue to monitor messages in between trainings and do their best to respond as soon as they are able to.

We understand that change can be a bit challenging, but we are dedicated to making this process smooth for our residents and partners. You may experience a few delays in February and March. We appreciate your patience through this transition.

Please check back on our website for additional updates throughout the months of February and March.

Important Dates:

Starting January 29th, our internal software systems will be closed for the conversion. This is expected to last until mid-February.  We are working tirelessly to ensure minimal inconvenience for all.

What this means for you:

LANDLORDS

Boise City / Ada County Housing Authorities will be transitioning to a single check-run (instead of multiple check-runs throughout the month) for the month of February 2024. We will be unable to process weekly prorates for the month of February.

PARTICIPANTS

Staff will be monitoring messages; however, responses may be delayed.

For immediate needs or responses please contact our main office:

It may take a little time for us to get back to you during this transition, but we are working as quickly as possible to address all questions and concerns.
